Our store, called Gesztenyéző, is located in the heart of Kaposvár at 16–18 Bajcsy-Zsilinszky Street. The main profile of our company is the production of chestnut purée, chestnut paste, and other chestnut-based products.
Our goal is to introduce people to this underrated fruit and help them discover how delicious, versatile, and exceptionally healthy chestnuts can be. We would be delighted to see chestnuts become part of everyday life, not only associated with the holiday season.
Without aiming to provide a complete list, our selection includes chestnut puree, chestnut hearts, cakes, pies, chestnut cream, preserved chestnuts, candied chestnuts, pastries, as well as chestnut scones and even chestnut meatballs. Our product range is continuously expanding.
At the same time, we would also like to cater to customers beyond chestnut lovers. Naturally, our assortment includes many other products as well. We distribute products from Hungarian producers and manufacturers who are committed to quality and authentic flavours. Our selection features dairy products, pickles, preserves, syrups, jams, cold-pressed oils, quail egg products, teas, and honey. We believe there is a real demand for unique, high-quality products like these among the sea of large multinational retailers. Gesztenyéző is not an ordinary little shop.
