Company information
Our company is a Hungarian-owned food manufacturing business with a history spanning several decades. We have been producing our products on an industrial scale since 1993 (operating as Sarkpont Plc. / Private Limited Company since 1998).
Our main activity is the production of frozen chestnut puree and chestnut paste. We also manufacture and distribute heat-treated preserved chestnut products. In this field, we are recognized as one of the most experienced companies on the market.
All of our products are manufactured at our production facility in Kadarkút, while cooling and storage are provided in our own cold-storage warehouse. During the autumn peak season, our factory provides employment opportunities for up to 55 people from the surrounding area.
Through continuous developments, computer-controlled technology, and the implementation of the HACCP system, we are able to provide our partners with consistently high-quality products across all product categories.
Since August 2010, we have operated under the IFS quality assurance system.
Alongside our significant domestic market presence, we are also active in an increasing number of international markets and continue to establish new commercial partnerships in countries such as Kazakhstan, Poland, Croatia, Switzerland, Portugal, and Austria.
Our products are reliably delivered, with the support of our logistics partners, to the largest hypermarkets and supermarket chains, as well as retail networks. They are also supplied to industrial users as raw materials (such as Hipp Ltd., a pioneer in baby food manufacturing), to confectionery suppliers and pastry professionals, and to gastronomy companies as well. Through these partners, our products reach various consumer segments.
Today’s consumers pay increasing attention to maintaining a healthy lifestyle. We place special focus on developing premium and organic-certified products that meet the expectations of health-conscious consumers. Our product portfolio is continuously expanding in order to satisfy a wide range of consumer demands.
